This original script, written by Simon McKenzie, was entered into the 2015 Calgary One Act Festival. It is a play about the eternal city of Rome, told through the eyes of Emperor Augustus, Lord Byron, and Nino Benvenuti the Italian boxer.

This essay examines the proliferation of anatomical study throughout the Renaissance. It posits that by looking within, we may find greater understanding of the universe in which we live; that the macrocosm and microcosm are intrinsically intertwined.

This essay explores the National Assembly Hall of Bengladesh, by Louis Kahn, within the 20th Century Modernist movement. It delves into Kahn's architectural philosophies and some of the inherant problems of modernity with respect to the human condition.

An Environmental Autobiography
This essay delves into the mind of the athlete. It is frames itself within the 2006 Sato Cup; an International Karate Championship in which Simon McKenzie competed. It expresses architecture and athletic event in terms of phenomenology.
